The Cross
Good Friday
Sky Watch Friday
Today is Good Friday. Good Friday, also called Holy Friday or Great Friday, is the Friday before Easter (Easter always falls on a Sunday). It commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus at Calvary. In many English speaking countries, hot cross buns are eaten on Good Friday, with the cross standing as a symbol of the crucifixion. This is the first day of the Easter Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday night and ends on the evening of Easter Sunday.Good Friday
