That's wonderful! I love vines and their discontent with staying put.
That is a great shot! Vines have a great personality! Happy WW!
A lovely shot for a cover of a classical violin CD!
What a lovely macro shot...Cool shot! Ours is up as well at burntofferings and more at bernies fotoblog.Have a great WW!!
nice shot....beautiful...happy ww!
Hi SandyCarlson,That's true, with this vine in particular I had to wait for a moment when the wind wasn't blowing at all, it was so flexible!Cheers,David
Hi yellowrose,Yes, I can think at this and imagine all kinds of personalities for the vine, and even this little part of a vine. Maybe one day I'll try and write a "fun" post where I imagine a human personality for some of these pics..... could be interesting!Cheers,David
Hi chrome3d,I've just been playing in the Eisteddfod today, so your suggestion is very relevant for me! I can certainly imagine this on the front cover of a violin CD, the vine itself looks a little like a violin with the curves.Happy W.W.!Cheers,David
Hi bernie,Thanks for dropping round again. I'll try and drop round to see your posts soon. Have a great WW!Cheers,David
Hi architect,This vine seems beautiful in the macro photo, but you should see it in real life - it's trying to take over the house! It's interesting to note the different aspect which a macro shot gives to something. Thanks for visiting, have a Happy W.W.!Cheers,David
Very delicate shot! Love the way you took it!
Hi carin,Thanks for the comment. Hope you have a great W.W. and enjoy your photography.Cheers,David

David: Very cool picture. Very nice job with the close-up.
What a wonderful photo.. I love vines also thanks for sharing
Something about nature I love. I think you capture it well... Green is in.Happy WW!
Great macro, David. Tendrils are one of those things that are so delicate as individuals but if you get enough of them applied to the same task, they can provide an amazing amount of support.
Hi dneez,I think I do love nature, almost as much as I love photography! :) Thanks for dropping by, my pleasure to comment, you have a great blog.Cheers,David
Hi fishing guy,Thanks for your continued comments and support, they are much appreciated. This was a particularly interesting photo as it is green-on-green, quite a difficult colour scheme so I'm glad you enjoyed it.Cheers,David
Hi stacey huston,Thanks for visiting, nice to see a vine-lover around! Vines can be very nice, especially when they have flowers. This is another side of the vine, the "feeler" which isn't often photographed.Cheers,David
Hi urban thought,I find that most people love nature when they come to think of it, maybe it's something innate in us. After all, we are nature ourselves from a certain point of view, so it's natural to enjoy other parts of creation! Thanks for dropping round, glad you could enjoy the picture. Hope to see you again soon!Cheers,David
Hi marvin,Yes, I know that very well, from attempting to prevent this very creature I photographed from taking over the house! Even though they look nice in photos, sometimes it's just time to rip 'em down! :)Cheers,David
